Chocolate has long been considered the ultimate indulgence and has been enjoyed by many for years, including the Sweet Eats family! As a family of chocolate lovers, we were devastated to discover that 3 out of our 4 family members suffer from Celiac disease as well as a dairy or gluten intolerance. All this time, our favorite sweet treat was making us sick and we had no idea!
Refusing to live a life without chocolate, the Sweet Eats family set out on a mission to create and redefine chocolate as we know it. This was not an easy task and took months of trial and error. Not only did this chocolate have to be free from gluten, grains and dairy so that we could eat it without becoming sick, but we had a few extra requirements as well. We wanted to create a product that did not contain soy or refined sugar and we wanted to keep our ingredients as natural and as pure as possible. Lastly, we wanted to make a chocolate that could be enjoyed by everyone! A chocolate that could not only be deliciously devoured by those that suffer from food allergies but also those that adhere to stricter health lifestyles such as the Paleo or Vegan diet.
A daunting task lay ahead but after a year and a half in the kitchen we were so excited when our recipes were final and the product was not only delicious but measured up to every single one of our chocolate must-haves!
We are so excited to introduce to you Sweet Eats Artisan chocolate, the original Vegan and Paleo dark, mylk and white chocolate. We are proud to say that all of our products are handcrafted from the very first ingredient to the very last and contain only true chocolate ingredients and a whole lot of love.
