Each of our Keto products are certified by a third party as KETO COMPLIANT. To be Keto compliant, a “snack item” portion must contain less than 6 grams of total carbohydrates. By dramatically reducing the natural cane sugar content in our chocolate to a mere 15%, we are well under within the Keto limits, so feel free to snack healthily on up to two (2 bars) of our ChocKETO Snaps, and know you are keeping your sugar and carb intake to a bare minimum.
[toggles title=”ChocKETO Dark Chocolate Coconut Almond Sea Salt Snaps”]ChocKETO Snaps are made with our newest 85% Cacao (Fine Flavour Cacao Beans) Chocolate, and the flavor is remarkable due to the unique origin of the beans. We have reduced the sugar to a mere 15% of total ingredients, making these bars very low in sugar and carbohydrates.

At ChocXO, we are genuinely passionate about Chocolate, so in 2015 we came up with our simple concept……Source the best ingredients and make the world’s most extraordinary chocolate treats. Sounds simple - right? We thought so too. For the most part, that is what we did. Hey, we’re Organic, Non-GMO, Kosher, Gluten-Free, Keto certified and SQF Level 3 Certified, right? Yup, but then we thought could we do better! Soooo, we looked even deeper at our ingredients suppliers and their practices and thought, what if on top of getting the best ingredients we also made sure our ingredients were ethically sourced, that the cacao growers received a fair wage and that we made sure all our manufacturing practices were as eco-friendly as possible. Now that would genuinely make everyone “Happy.”
We are just as passionate about the planet and its people as we are about Chocolate. As citizens of this world, we want to help our fellow citizens. We try and do that through our support of mental health and addiction initiatives, supporting new immigrant families or sustainable packaging and eco practices.
But hey, not to be overly serious, our products need to taste great also. We want to make people happy when they eat our products as well. The best way we can do that is by creating happy treats that you can share with a friend, family member, or even a stranger. We believe nothing brings people closer than eating together or sharing a great experience. Perhaps sharing a bite of our Chocolate can be the vehicle to open a line of communication. What a Concept! Talking to each other, we’re geniuses! Seriously though, you can’t solve problems without talking, so let’s find that common ground, eat some chocolate, and slowly make this world a better place. Share the XO.
Eat Chocolate. Be Happy.
Are your products gluten-free?
Answer: Yes, all of our chocolate bars and squares are gluten-free. Some of our chocolate novelties do contain gluten such as our Crispy Praline Filled Chocolate. If you have a severe allergy, we recommend staying away from our filled chocolates.
Are your products Kosher?

Answer: Yes, we do. All of our dark chocolate is made without dairy, so all dark chocolate bars and squares are absolutely fine. Our dark chocolate caramel thin contains dairy as the caramel filling has dairy in it. Please be cautious if you have severe dairy allergies though. Our molding facility also molds milk chocolate, so trace elements may be present in all of our products. Most of our filled chocolates do contain dairy.
Where are you headquartered?
Answer: We’re proud to be based in beautiful Vancouver, Canada. Our Vancouver factory is the hub of all things ChocXO. We’re excited to be a part of the food renaissance happening in B.C. right now. Our sister company is Chewters Chocolates. We work together to develop our extraordinary products. We’ve both got roots in Vancouver, making us a true North American chocolate company.

About Us :
Established in 2010, The Paleo Foundation was first organized for the purpose of improving the tolerability of the paleo diet, and to help adherents easily identify products that met its basic tenets. Since then, thousands of products have been certified through the Certified Paleo, Keto Certified, and lab -tested Grain-Free Gluten-Free certification programs.
100% of Paleo Foundation revenue is generated through certifications. We do not accept donations, corporate sponsorships, or financially benefit from the sales of any certified products, product giveaways, or partnerships with industry contacts or retailers for the purpose of maintaining the integrity of an impartial certification standard.
Each certification program has a different set of standards. Certified Paleo is the Paleo Foundation’s first, most popular, and highest level of certification for Paleo-compliant products. Certified Paleo Products are products that contain Paleo ingredients, but may have some 21st-century processing or packaging methods allowing for shelf stability.
Grain Free Gluten Free Certified products are gluten-free and do not contain any grains of gliadin competitive residues. All Grain-Free Gluten-Free products have undergone two rounds of audits, including lab tests, and a final review to become approved for the Grain-free Gluten-free Certified Program.
The ketogenic diet is a restrictive, demanding diet that can be difficult to maintain, and tolerability of the ketogenic diet is the single most important factor limiting individual acceptance for initiation. Therefore, improving the tolerability of the ketogenic diet is crucial to preventing diet discontinuation, warranting further investigation into methods for improving palatability, improving the availability and convenience of foods that are compliant with the ketogenic diet, as well as addressing cultural and social acceptance.
The Keto Diet product market may be in a unique position to improve tolerability, especially in social and cultural environments that typically feature carbohydrate-rich “special occasion” types of foods. In 2016, the Paleo Foundation launched the world's first Keto Certified program for products with standards that were developed for adherence to a classical ketogenic diet.
