Spring Clean

Spring Clean, formerly Trolley Dodger, is our organic certified bone broth tonic and our number one recommendation for cooking.

We suggest drinking this bone broth with MCT oil, grass-fed butter, or using it in any cooking that calls for oregano, cream and garlic. Bone Appetit!

Mother's

Mother’s, previously Inside Job, is our organic certified chicken bone broth infused with fennel, apple cider vinegar and bay leaf.

This bone broth is also safe for those on a low FODMAP diet as it is completely allium free.

Conductor

Smoky chipotle, sweet butternut squash, and fresh rosemary combine to make this show-stopping bone broth that sells out year after year.

We infuse these organic ingredients into our pasture-raised bone broth that we love to sip warmed gently out of the jar!

Other uses are soups and chili, any FALL recipe featuring harvest squash.

The Spur

Dubbed a “Texas Treasure,” The Spur is an organic certified bone broth featuring a wild combination of blistered poblano, fresh beets, and Serrano peppers. This is our third flavor that is low-FODMAP compliant containing far less than 28g of the peppers.

The Spur has a delightful and spicy flavor profile that does not have a “dirty” or earthy aftertaste, it is an exquisite bone broth we know you will love!

Bouquet Garni

Grab your Sous Chef in a jar with this seasonal brew. Our certified organic bone broth tonic is roasted, brewed low and slow, and infused with fresh sage, rosemary, and thyme!

This bone broth tonic is an incredible addition to any meal and pairs well with intermittent fasting.

Nopalito

Meet Nopalito! Infused with nopal cactus, habanero and cilantro it is a trip to the heart of Texas!

Here’s a bit more about why we love these ingredients below:

The Nopal cactus may be familiar to us as the prickly pear cactus we see all around! While prickly pears are beloved and used in juices and cocktails etc, most of us don’t know that the actual cactus itself is excellent in many dishes!

It’s been said the habanero pepper has a Napoleon complex. We add just enough to give you a little burn, but is there more in that spice than meets the taste bud? The capsaicin (spice factor) in habaneros stimulates the increase of the insulin-like growth factor IGF-I which reduces blood pressure. Capsaicin increases thermogenesis (body temperature) increasing the metabolism increasing the rate at which you burn calories.

Cilantro has many benefits in addition to being just plain delicious. Dodecanal – the compound found in cilantro leaves and seeds has been proven to be twice as effective as medical-grade antibiotics. It is also used widely for detoxing of heavy metals. Read the full study here!

We love using ALL STAR ingredients to make our bone broth even more delicious. Wellness well made!

A Word From Our Founder

Bone broth had a significant impact on my health when I needed it most. As a young mom I found myself needing emergency surgery and fearing for my life - all from digestive issues! Just praying to wake up, when I did I made a life-changing choice to INVEST in my wellness from the inside out.

Bone broth has a rich history that goes back thousands of years and spans cultural divides - but it is MISSING from most of our lives! When I started touting the benefits of bone broth I heard two responses; it was gross to make and it didn’t even taste good! It was then I realized my calling and it has been a wild ride.

People rave that our bone broth is the best they’ve ever tasted and the first meal they make with our broth is the best they’ve ever had. I LOVE showing people just how GOOD good-for-you can taste and encouraging others to invest in their wellness! Just read the reviews!

Does Fond Bone Broth Need To Be Refrigerated?

Answer: No! Our bone broth is now shelf stable. Our same recipes for years NOW approved to be sold without refrigeration! It is a beautiful intersection of time-honored tradition and modern technology. This means: No preservatives or even sneaky ones like added acids or celery salt.

How Is Fond Shelf Stable? What Canning Process Is Used?

Answer: FOND uses a state of the art canning mechanism called a retort. This is a canner that can vary in size from a catering cart to the length of a room! FOND is canned in glass jars because it is the most environmentally friendly way to produce, store and distribute our bone broth. It is a product without any added preservatives or unwanted acids, so it is pure in flavor and unmatched in quality!

Why Do You Call It A “tonic?”

Answer: Bone broth is good for you, but it is NOT always delicious, we take our flavor AND nutritional profiles one step further by infusing our bone broths with flavor combinations that nourish and delight.

What Does Fond Mean?

Answer: FOND means foundation or base in French, and that’s a big part of why we’re here: to be the foundation of your culinary and nutritional life. We’re here to show you just how “good” good for you can taste!

How Long Does It Last Once Opened?

Answer: Once it is opened, you have 4 - 7 days to use it. If you’re coming up on 7 days or are going to be heading out of town, pour the broth into an ice cube tray and freeze it.

Why Is Fond Now Organic Free Range?

Answer: Pasture raising chicken means volumes not only for the flavor and nutritional content of our bone broth but also for our impact on our land. It is SO important to our Founding Family. While FOND is experiencing rapid growth we have moved to an amazing Organic Certified Free Range Chicken source where chickens are raised on pasture AND in shelters for their protection. The chickens are never fed antibiotics, and only receive supplemental non-gmo organic feed. This is NOT your traditional Free Range chicken.

When Will Fond Be Exclusively Pasture Raised Again?

Answer: We are working hard to get our Texas source for Regenerative Certified Organic Pasture Raised Chicken up to volume and are on track to be able to meet our growing demand with them in August of this year!

About Us :

Established in 2010, The Paleo Foundation was first organized for the purpose of improving the tolerability of the paleo diet, and to help adherents easily identify products that met its basic tenets.  Since then, thousands of products have been certified through the Certified Paleo, Keto Certified, and lab -tested Grain-Free Gluten-Free certification programs.

Disclosures:

100% of  Paleo Foundation revenue is generated through certifications.  We do not accept donations, corporate sponsorships, or financially benefit from the sales of any certified products, product giveaways, or partnerships with industry contacts or retailers for the purpose of maintaining the integrity of an impartial certification standard.

Certified Paleo logo Certified Paleo:

Each certification program has a different set of standards.  Certified Paleo is the Paleo Foundation’s first, most popular, and highest level of certification for Paleo-compliant products.  Certified Paleo Products are products that contain Paleo ingredients, but may have some 21st-century processing or packaging methods allowing for shelf stability.

Grain Free Gluten Free Certified LogoGrain-Free Gluten-Free:

Grain Free Gluten Free Certified products are gluten-free and do not contain any grains of gliadin competitive residues.  All Grain-Free Gluten-Free products have undergone two rounds of audits, including lab tests, and a final review to become approved for the Grain-free Gluten-free Certified Program.

Keto Certified LogoKeto Certified:

The ketogenic diet is a restrictive, demanding diet that can be difficult to maintain, and tolerability of the ketogenic diet is the single most important factor limiting individual acceptance for initiation.  Therefore, improving the tolerability of the ketogenic diet is crucial to preventing diet discontinuation, warranting further investigation into methods for improving palatability, improving the availability and convenience of foods that are compliant with the ketogenic diet, as well as addressing cultural and social acceptance.

The Keto Diet product market may be in a unique position to improve tolerability, especially in social and cultural environments that typically feature carbohydrate-rich “special occasion” types of foods. In 2016, the Paleo Foundation launched the world's first Keto Certified program for products with standards that were developed for adherence to a classical ketogenic diet.
