Just Real Foods: Grainless Granola

Why Grainless and not Grained Granola?

  • Much less sugar than grained granola but has enough natural sugar (honey) to satisfy craving for sweets.
Grain crops are sprayed with Monsanto’s Roundup (unless organic), which contains a dangerous chemical carcinogen called glyphosate, which also causes significant birth defects; most of the ingredients in grainless granolas are not sprayed with Roundup.
  • Less processed, contains real food ingredients.
  • Lower glycemic index than grained granola, meaning it gets digested much slower and one is not hungry 20 minutes later…keeps blood sugar levels stable.
  • Has more protein than grained granola.
  • Gluten-Free, great for people who are gluten sensitive or have celiac.

About Us

Our Philosophy:

Our passion is to deliver all-natural foods with minimal processing, thereby they do not contain cane or refined sugars, processed grains, artificial flavorings, chemical food dyes and other chemical additives. While we may not offer 100% unprocessed foods, our passion is to bring you JUST REAL FOODS, also including gluten-free, dairy-free and non-GMO, for the entire family to enjoy. At Just Real Foods, we care about one thing, making your body and your taste buds happy at the same time. It is never too late to evolve the way you eat!

No added processed or refined sugars. EVER!

Eating processed sugar is like putting poison into your body, especially in the quantities that are found in most processed foods. Here at Just Real Foods, our focus is on using the earth’s sweetness from produce or honey. Added sugars can lead to obesity which in turn, leads to heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s and cancer. This is why we pride ourselves on leaving added processed and refined sugars out of our recipes, while still delivering a great tasting product that your taste buds will be quite happy with. We do add honey and/or pure maple syrup to our granola to bind the nuts and seeds to form crunchy clusters, but both are highly concentrated so we don’t need to add much AND both have high levels of nutrients and anti-oxidants.

Ingredients that are good for you, good for our planet!

If you can’t pronounce it, why eat it? Many of the ingredients in our food system sound like they belong in a chemistry laboratory. We believe that your food should be comprised of everyday ingredients which you not only know and love, but can also pronounce. That is why we load our products with plant-based foods such as walnuts, almonds, shredded coconut, flaxseeds, cinnamon, apple, pecans, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds.

Honesty. Our number one policy.

Many food companies today attempt to trick their customers into thinking they are consuming less calories than they actually are simply by shrinking the serving size. We are true to our word and strive to tell you our nutritionals based on a “real” serving. Not a serving that will barely satiate your appetite.

About Us :

Established in 2010, The Paleo Foundation was first organized for the purpose of improving the tolerability of the paleo diet, and to help adherents easily identify products that met its basic tenets.  Since then, thousands of products have been certified through the Certified Paleo, Keto Certified, and lab -tested Grain-Free Gluten-Free certification programs.

Disclosures:

100% of  Paleo Foundation revenue is generated through certifications.  We do not accept donations, corporate sponsorships, or financially benefit from the sales of any certified products, product giveaways, or partnerships with industry contacts or retailers for the purpose of maintaining the integrity of an impartial certification standard.

Certified Paleo logo Certified Paleo:

Each certification program has a different set of standards.  Certified Paleo is the Paleo Foundation’s first, most popular, and highest level of certification for Paleo-compliant products.  Certified Paleo Products are products that contain Paleo ingredients, but may have some 21st-century processing or packaging methods allowing for shelf stability.

Grain Free Gluten Free Certified LogoGrain-Free Gluten-Free:

Grain Free Gluten Free Certified products are gluten-free and do not contain any grains of gliadin competitive residues.  All Grain-Free Gluten-Free products have undergone two rounds of audits, including lab tests, and a final review to become approved for the Grain-free Gluten-free Certified Program.

Keto Certified LogoKeto Certified:

The ketogenic diet is a restrictive, demanding diet that can be difficult to maintain, and tolerability of the ketogenic diet is the single most important factor limiting individual acceptance for initiation.  Therefore, improving the tolerability of the ketogenic diet is crucial to preventing diet discontinuation, warranting further investigation into methods for improving palatability, improving the availability and convenience of foods that are compliant with the ketogenic diet, as well as addressing cultural and social acceptance.

The Keto Diet product market may be in a unique position to improve tolerability, especially in social and cultural environments that typically feature carbohydrate-rich “special occasion” types of foods. In 2016, the Paleo Foundation launched the world's first Keto Certified program for products with standards that were developed for adherence to a classical ketogenic diet.
