About the Brand

The founder and head baker at Snackin’ Free, Laura Savinovich, hails from a family with a long history of Autoimmune Disease. Over the past three generations, all the females in her family have experienced some form of Autoimmune Disease, ranging from Scleroderma and Pemphigus to Hashimoto’s and Lupus. In 2003, Laura was diagnosed with moderate Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). In 2010, she discovered something that would significantly alter her life: the “Paleo Lifestyle”. Laura decided to conduct extensive research before fully committing, clearing out all the cupboards and disrupting everyone’s life. However, she soon realized that finding tasty foods adhering to her new dietary guidelines proved challenging, prompting her to take matters into her own hands.

Laura began by delving into her family recipes. She then scoured bookstores and the internet to find recipes that could be transformed into the tasty foods and baked goods she remembered but couldn’t find in stores. After numerous experiments, reformulations, and manipulations with unfamiliar ingredients, Laura started testing her creations on family and friends, yielding great results. Today, at Snackin’ Free, they offer a wide range of products, from the best paleo breads, pizza crusts, bagels, and tortillas to salad dressings and barbecue sauces. They also provide delicious treats like cookies, muffins, brownies, and cupcakes, all without containing any gluten, grain, dairy, soy, peanuts, processed sugars, preservatives, or artificial ingredients.
