We get asked a lot why our first product in the market is muffins. Our answer to that is: why not? To us, a muffin is the embodiment of the perfect food. You can enjoy it for breakfast, for dessert or as a snack. It’s convenient, easy, tasty, and goes well with your morning coffee, afternoon tea or a tall glass of milk any time of the day. Best of all, our muffins are so healthy and packed with energy, it will keep you going until your next meal!

We believe that living with love and intention is the foundation for a blissful life. It’s with this philosophy that we created Soozy’s. Our products are thoughtfully crafted, with balance and awareness baked in so that each bite of a Soozy’s product ensures a focus on nourishing ourselves through mindful eating.



Certified Products:


Wild Blueberry Muffins – An all-American classic, re-mastered to pack a nutritious punch. Sweet, juicy blueberries are the star of this moist, fluffy muffin. We then add vanilla and a touch of lemon to the batter to make it completely irresistible. We challenge you to have just one!

Sweet Potato Muffins – We’ve paired hearty sweet potatoes with harvest spices and maple syrup to pay tribute to one of our favorite desserts, the sweet potato pie. We’ve nicknamed this our “comfort” muffin — it reminds us of being with our family, of what our moms would make for us for Thanksgiving.

Coffee Cake Muffins – Despite its namesake, we think this muffin tastes so good it goes perfectly with any beverage! The caramel-y goodness of the batter, coupled with the richness of coconut cream, is a winning combo that always keeps us coming back for more. It’s perfection in a bite that also makes you feel great!

Double Chocolate Muffins – This moist, decadent muffin is for those who secretly wish they could eat dessert for breakfast! We’ve paired dutch cocoa powder with coconut cream to give this muffin a rich and indulgent taste, and sprinkled in chocolate chips to make this muffin truly heavenly!

Matcha Green Tea Muffin – We’ve been dreaming of a matcha muffin before matcha even became a “thing” – we swear! We use coconut cream to bring out the fullness of our high-grade matcha powder, and sweeten it with maple syrup and coconut sugar to balance out the matcha’s delightful earthiness. If you’ve never tried matcha before, you are in for a treat!

Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin – Like your grandmother’s banana bread, only better! Our banana chocolate chip muffin is so light and fluffy and bursting with banana flavor, you will forget this muffin is good for you. Have it for breakfast, as a snack, before you work out, or just ’cause — this muffin will have you feeling great and ready for the day!

"I've been baking sweet treats for my loved ones from the moment I was tall enough to peer over the kitchen countertop! While I've always been a healthy baker, I turned my attention to gluten-free and grain-free baking after meeting Mason. Through this process of learning and mastery, I began noticing that the majority of gluten-free muffins and breads were actually junk food masquerading as health food! Just because a product is gluten-free doesn't mean it's good for you, and consumers deserve great tasting, healthy options. I'm also a meditation teacher and believe that the cycle of optimal health and bliss starts with a happy tummy. We are truly what we eat; if we are to have a balanced life of happiness and bliss, we must first create this balance in our diet."

“Ever since learning I was gluten intolerant seven years ago, I've been focused on living a healthier lifestyle. For me this meant sticking to mostly unprocessed foods that were made with nutrient dense ingredients. Although I was always looking for healthier alternatives that fit with this new philosophy of “clean” eating, I became frustrated with the lack options that were available to me, especially in the baked goods department. It was this frustration that made me determined to find a way to create a baked goods product that tasted better than anything else I had eaten but that was also the “cleanest” in the store from an ingredient standpoint. That's how we came up with Soozy's: a muffin for people who love food but who don't want to compromise on their health. We've been working on this recipe for years and are excited for you to try what we've come up with!”

What makes your muffins different from other gluten-free offerings?

Answer: We created our muffins with a very clear objective: To make the healthiest and best-tasting muffins on the planet, that also happen to be gluten-free. In addition to being certified gluten-free, our muffins are also grain-free, dairy-free, soy-free, peanut-free and do not contain any stabilizers, fillers, or artificial ingredients. We don’t use any highly refined flours, starches, or processed ingredients, typically found in gluten-free baked goods.

You guys claim that your muffins are “clean”? What does this mean?

Answer: From our perspective, “clean” means made from real food – nothing artificial. We have worked very hard to offer a clean baked good that also tastes delicious. The term “clean eating” has become more recognizable over the past few years, but to us, still means eating real, nutrient-dense food that nourishes and strengthens your body.

We believe Soozy’s products have the highest standard in the gluten-free baked goods marketplace. Several of our ingredients are expensive and difficult to source, but because we’re not willing to compromise our standards, you can rest assured that you are eating the cleanest gluten-free treat possible.

What's wrong with the typical ingredients found gluten-free muffins? I thought gluten-free means healthy?

Answer: Although we feel that eating gluten-free can benefit almost everyone, we are still concerned with how refined and highly processed most of the gluten-free alternatives are. We stay away from many “common” ingredients, which is why you won't find xanthan gum, soy lecithin, brown rice syrup, white rice flour, or any type of processed flour or sugar in our products. Next time you go to the store, check out the long list of processed ingredients found in your typical gluten-free muffin. You might be shocked at what you find.

Why are your muffins so healthy?

Answer: Our muffins are made from real food – that’s it. We use minimally processed ingredients that you can pronounce. Our muffins deliver nutrition and taste to give you sustained energy, healthy fats, fiber, protein and sustenance that is readily available and used by your body as fuel.

Are Soozy's Muffins “Non-GMO Project Verified”?

Answer: Yes! All of our muffins have been certified by the Non-GMO Project. We are very aware of the negative impact GMO's can have on our health, which is why we have worked hard to meet this high standard. The vast majority of our competitors do not have this certification.

Are Soozy’s Muffins “Certified Paleo”?

Answer: Yes! Currently, 4 out of 6 flavors of muffins are “Certified Paleo.” These include: Wild Blueberry, Sweet Potato, Matcha Green Tea and Coffee Cake. Our other two flavors, Double Chocolate and Banana Chocolate Chip, are considered “Paleo-Friendly.”

Can I eat your muffins if I have a tree nut allergy?

Answer: If you have a tree nut allergy, you should avoid our products. However, our products are peanut-free.

Are these the only nuts found in Soozy’s Muffins?

Answer: No, unfortunately our muffins DO contain nuts (Almonds, Coconuts).

Are your eggs cage-free?

Answer: Yes! We only source cage-free eggs that have been fed organic feed, ensuring no GMO's are passed through our muffins. Our cage-free eggs come from chickens that have lived their lives as naturally as possible.

What is the best way to warm one of your muffins?

Answer: Since we are sold as a frozen product, it’s best to store our muffins in the freezer, until you are ready to eat them. At that point, we suggest you remove the outer plastic wrap and place the muffin in the microwave for between 20-30 seconds, depending on the power of your appliance. We also recommend using a conventional oven, although this can take a little longer to heat through (approximately 10 mins at 325 degrees). If you do not want to consume all four muffins (one box) at once, feel free to remove and heat individual muffins, as needed.

Is this the best recommendation for a toaster oven?

Answer: If you have a toaster oven, remove the plastic wrap and place the muffin on low until heated through. Do not overheat.

Can I store your muffins at room temperature?

Answer: We recommend storing them at room temperature only if you plan on consuming them within 48 hours. Otherwise, we recommend storing them in the freezer. Because our muffins are made from natural, whole food ingredients, and don't contain any stabilizers or preservatives, we recommend storing them frozen until you are ready to enjoy one.

How long can I store your muffins in my refrigerator?

Answer: We find our muffins keep fresh in the refrigerator for approximately two weeks.

Why do you individually wrap the muffins?

Answer: We find that wrapping our muffins right after baking ensures maximum freshness for the consumer. Because they are individually wrapped, you can eat them at your leisure, rather than being forced to consume an entire box, all at once. By individually wrapping our muffins, we’ve created a convenient “grab and go” item when you're on the move, traveling or just strapped for time. You can easily throw one of our muffins in your bag on your way to work, school, the gym and beyond.
 We also find it important for a certified “gluten-free” product to have an extra layer of protection against potential cross contamination.

You claim to be dairy-free, but have a “d” next to your kosher label. What's that all about?

Answer: Our baking lines are not kosherized for pareve, although rest assured - our product is indeed dairy-free!

The ketogenic diet is a restrictive, demanding diet that can be difficult to maintain, and tolerability of the ketogenic diet is the single most important factor limiting individual acceptance for initiation.  Therefore, improving the tolerability of the ketogenic diet is crucial to preventing diet discontinuation, warranting further investigation into methods for improving palatability, improving the availability and convenience of foods that are compliant with the ketogenic diet, as well as addressing cultural and social acceptance.

The Keto Diet product market may be in a unique position to improve tolerability, especially in social and cultural environments that typically feature carbohydrate-rich “special occasion” types of foods. In 2016, the Paleo Foundation launched the world's first Keto Certified program for products with standards that were developed for adherence to a classical ketogenic diet.
