Base Culture suggests that their Sandwich Breads and Sweet Breads be stored in the freezer to ensure the longest shelf life of 9 months, or they can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Their Brownies are a bit of a different story. They last 9 months in the freezer and can be stored in the refrigerator for 2 months. Their Almond Butters can be stored at room temperature for 9 months or in the refrigerator for a year!
Yes, all of their products are Non-GMO certified through the BioChecked process, a leading third party certification program with expertise in areas including Non-GMO ingredients.
They make all of their products in their own manufacturing plant located in Clearwater, Florida, and they have a SQF level 2 certified facility. They are certified paleo, gluten free, grain free and are women owned.
The paleo diet is a nutritional approach that focuses on eating only foods that are nourishing and unprocessed.
