Skincare and beauty products should enrich your life by providing you with noticeable results without sacrificing your health or well-being. It wasn’t until after I discovered the power of eating real food that I subsequently purged my bathroom cabinet of toxic skincare products and began formulating my own replacements made with real, recognizable ingredients. Much to my surprise, the products I made actually worked better than the dozens I had tried in the past! My acne cleared up, my armpits no longer stank, and my skin felt (and looked) better than it ever had.

And most importantly, I enjoyed using them.

After about a year of recipe tweaking and a ton of encouragement from friends and family, I decided to start selling my products on our family farm’s website. I was completely blown away by the response that Primally Pure received within only a few short months!

Today, I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to continue to bring you safe, organic, and 100% natural skincare products made with the absolute best and most nourishing ingredients on the planet. I strive to create effective products that work by nourishing the skin, body, and self – products that promote health and vitality instead of taking away from it.

In addition to providing you with tangible results, it’s my hope that you will also find joy through incorporating Primally Pure into your daily skincare regime. (Because we all deserve a few moments each day to unwind and invest in our own health and happiness!) From the intoxicating aromas of our body oils to our soothing + refreshing complexion mist, Primally Pure products are designed to brighten your day and make you shine.

Thanks for stopping by – I hope you’ll keep in touch!

XO,

Bethany

I seem to be experiencing some irritation with the regular deodorant formula, but I love it and don't want to stop using it. What can I do?

Answer: We're so glad you asked! Some individuals experience irritation from the baking soda in our deodorant. The good news is, this can be worked through in most cases. Your pits may need some time to adjust to the rough or alkaline nature of baking soda. If irritation persists or becomes painful, please discontinue the use of our regular deodorant and consider re-introducing it later or switching to our sensitive formula (contains less baking soda).

What's the difference between regular and sensitive deodorant?

Answer: Our regular deodorant contains baking soda, which is superior in fighting odor. But since some people's pits are irritated by this ingredient, we also offer a sensitive version that contains a much smaller amount of baking soda (enough to make it effective, but not enough to cause irritation for the vast majority of people). Primally PURE sensitive deodorant contains all of the same ingredients as the regular version with the addition of kaolin clay (detoxifies your pits) and non-nano zinc oxide (helps to control odor).

What is tallow?

Answer: Tallow is an incredibly nourishing, vitamin-rich form of animal fat that is quickly making a big comeback in skincare. The tallow we use is rendered from the interior fat tissue (suet) of the cow after it has been processed. During the rendering process, the suet is gently heated, causing the pure oils to melt away from the rest of the tissue. Those pure oils then solidify to form ultra moisturizing tallow! We ONLY use tallow from organic and grass-fed cows that were raised outside on pasture. Healthy animals in turn produce healthy tallow that contains a high concentration of fat soluble Vitamins A, D, K in a balanced combination with their activators (all of which are extremely important for skin health and overall health). Grass-fed tallow also contains Vitamin E, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) which is anti-inflammatory as well as palmitoleic acid with has natural antimicrobial properties. For more information on tallow and why it's so great for skincare, check out this detailed article from the Weston A. Price Foundation.

Do you offer samples?

Answer: We do not currently offer samples. We work very hard to make the best natural skincare products on the market and are confident that you will be happy with your order. However, if you are unsatisfied with an item, please get in touch with us at hello@primallypure.com so that we can work with you to find a resolution.

What is the SPF of your Outdoor Lotion?

Answer: Primally PURE Outdoor Lotion has not been tested in a lab for SPF value. For that reason, I am not legally able to even guess the potential SPF of this product. I can say that it has kept myself and many others sunburn free after spending long periods of time outdoors. Non-nano zinc oxide, the active ingredient in Primally PURE Outdoor Lotion, is extremely effective in protecting against both UVA and UVB rays. For more information on healthy sun exposure and non-nano zinc oxide, click here.

Are your products safe for babies/toddlers?

Answer: For the most part, yes. However, extra caution should always be taken when using products that contain essential oils on children. Because even though the essential oils in our products are 100% natural and organic, they are still extremely concentrated and potent. Spot testing is a must when using our products on children.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Answer: We do not currently offer wholesale pricing as we are committed to providing the consumer with the most fresh and high quality products available. We have decided to grow at a comfortable rate and are not willing to compromise the quality of our products by jumping into the retail world too soon. Wholesale pricing may be something we offer in the future, but not at this point.

What's your return policy?

Answer: We work tirelessly to create natural products that are safe, effective and FUN to use! We want you to be 100% pleased and satisfied with your order. If for some reason you aren't happy with your order or have any questions, shoot us an email at hello@primallypure.com so that we can work on finding a resolution.

About Us :

Established in 2010, The Paleo Foundation was first organized for the purpose of helping Paleo Diet Adherents easily identify products that met the basic tenets of the diet.  Since then, thousands of products have been certified through the Certified Paleo, Paleo Approved, Paleo Vegan, and Paleo Friendly Certification Programs.

Disclosures:

100% of  Paleo Foundation revenue is generated through Paleo Certifications. We do not accept donations, corporate sponsorships, or financially benefit from the sales of any paleo certified products, product giveaways, or partnerships with industry contacts or retailers for the purpose of maintaining the integrity of an impartial certification standard.

How we determine Paleo Certification Standards:

The Paleo Foundation develops Certification Standards from a mixture of input from various experts in the Paleo Movement, community input, and from logically and critically assessing arguments for the inclusion or exclusion of specific foods. After all, the Paleo Diet is a theoretical template, and therefore logic must be taken into account when making determinations for an entire community.

Paleo Approved, Certified Paleo, Paleo Friendly, and PaleoVegan Certification Programs:

Each Paleo Certification Program has a different set of standards. For the absolute strictest standards, Paleo Approved certifies farms, ranches, and single-ingredient products. Certified Paleo, the most popular of the Paleo Certification programs certifies products that contain Paleo Diet ingredients, but have some 21st century processing methods allowing for shelf stability. The Paleo Friendly Program allows for products that are generally regarded as gray-area products such as kombucha, dark chocolate, and even grass-fed dairy.
