All Royal Hawaiian foods are Kosher. OUr products are certified kosher by Orthodox Union and meet the rules and standards of Jewish Dietary Law. Being kosher is one of the many positive results of using wholesome and unmodified ingredients.

OUr entire family of seasoned macadamias are vegan-friendly. These include Sea Salt, Maui Onion, Hawaiian BBQ, Sea Salt & Cracked Pepper and Wasabi Soy flavors.

Currently, all Royal Hawaiian foods are gluten free. Royal Hawaiian is the perfect, healthy fit for a gluten-free diet. Their 100% gluten-free products are a wholesome choice for individuals that are allergic to gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye. They use 100% gluten-free ingredients and maintain a gluten-free production process to avoid contact with allergens.

Royal Hawaiian Orchards is committed to sourcing ingredients that are not genetically engineered in all of their products. They have stringent protocols for GMOs which includes requiring affidavits from ingredient suppliers demonstrating they can meet their non-GMO requirements. They use only wholesome, simple, unmodified ingredients – good for the body, good for you.

In April 2023, Hawaiian Host Group, the parent company of Mauna Loa, acquired MacFarms LLC an Australian-based company who owned Royal Hawaiian Orchards. As a result of this acquisition, Hawaiian Host Group is bringing the ownership of these Hawai'i based brands back to Hawai'i.
